Counting Down with Kindness

Advent calendars are a Christmas staple, they will the aisles in supermarkets. What if we could make those advent days a chance to give, after all, December is the season of giving. That’s the idea behind our Add-Vent Calendar – a simple twist on a holiday tradition.

Instead of opening a door to find chocolate of a toy, the Add-Vent Calendar invites you to add something each day. A tin of soup, a packet of pasta, a box of tea bags. These small everyday items that together can make a huge difference.

Easy as 1,2,3

1. Day 1: Add your first item
2. Day 2: Repeat and carry on every day.
3. Donate: When your box is full, donate it.

We will be running our Add-Vent Calendar until Tuesday 16th December, we will be donating the food to our local food banks.

By the time the 16th arrives, collectively we will have created a box filled with essentials and a few treats that can help make Christmas a little easier for someone. It’s a way to countdown to Christmas whilst lifting up others in our communities.

Food banks are lifelines for many families who are facing tough times, and demand on the food banks are especially high over Christmas. Your Add-Vent Calendar donation can help ensure that no one has to chose between heating and eating.

You are welcome to do you own, add a little to the trolleys in many super markets or you can add your donation to our boxes.
