To become a Beacon Credit Union community member, you need to live or work in our common bond.

This includes Cheshire, certain nearby postcodes and all non-Cheshire WA postcodes, like St Helens.

How to join

Visit us:
Come to our Runcorn or Widnes hub to apply in person.

Membership Fee:
Pay a £2 entrance fee and deposit at least £1 into your share (savings) account to activate your membership. These fees can be deducted from your first payment.

Provide identification:
Bring two forms of ID to verify your identity and your address. One should confirm who you are (like a passport or driving licence) and the other should verify where you live (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement received within the last three months).
