Members driving change
Communities aren’t built on grand gestures. They’re held together by the countless small acts that often go unnoticed: the neighbour who always checks in, the volunteer who never stops giving, the shopkeeper who goes the extra mile.
These are the people we’re celebrating. Because their actions deserve to be seen. Now’s your chance to help those people get the recognition they deserve.
By nominating someone, you’re helping to shine a light on the strength and kindness that already exists all around us.
Nominate your local champion

Meet the Beacon Community Champions
Ordinary people. Extraordinary impact.
These are the stories of people who never asked for recognition but deserve it all the same. Volunteers, mentors, shopkeepers, team players – their quiet actions leave a lasting mark on our community.
Because when we take time to celebrate them, it reminds us of what true community spirit looks like.
