We care about the planet, our home, too. For every new member who joins, or every dormant member who reactivates their account, we sponsor the planting of a tree through our partnership with Just One Tree.
‘Just One Tree’ primarily plants in equatorial regions where trees grow faster and absorb more carbon, and they’re also creating kelp forests to cool our oceans. Together, we’re supporting reforestation efforts, helping to create a greener planet for future generations.

How to join
To become a member, you must live or work within our common bond areas, which include all of Cheshire and certain WA postcodes. Joining is easy—just download our app or visit our Runcorn or Widnes branches in person. There’s a £2 entrance fee and a minimum £1 deposit to activate your account.
Easy and flexible savings
Save for a home, holidays, weddings or a rainy day. You can save at your own pace, whether it’s weekly, monthly or whenever you can.
Giving back
We use our extra funds to help our communities. From planting trees to supporting local sports, your savings help make our communities better.
Mutual support
When you save with us, you’re also helping other members borrow and achieve their goals. It’s all about supporting each other.
Fully protected savings
The Financial Savings Compensation Scheme (FSCS) protects your savings up to £85,000, so you don’t have to worry.
Dividend payout
Each year, from October to September, if we end up with a surplus, we love to share it back with you as a dividend. These must be approved by a vote at our AGM (Annual General Meeting). We also consider offering an annual interest rebate to those you’ve borrowed from us during the year.

We thrive on active community participation. As a member, you’re not just part of our credit union — you’re helping steer it. You get a say in our big decisions at Annual General Meetings (AGMs) and any special meetings we need to call. Plus, you’re always welcome at any of our events. Jump in and help us make choices, enjoy local events and connect with other members. We also run surveys throughout the year to hear what you think, and you can always drop us a line through our contact form with your thoughts or suggestions. Your input really makes a difference, helping us strengthen and enhance our community together.
