A Festive Good Deed Celebrating Pets, Companionship and Community

As part of Beacon’s Christmas Good Deeds, we’re celebrating the special role pets play in our lives by hosting a heart-warming new event: the Doggy Christmas Grotto at our Beacon Widnes Branch.

Our pets offer comfort, companionship and joy — and for many people, they help combat loneliness. This Good Deed recognises just how important they are by giving them their very own magical festive experience.

🐶 What’s Inside the Doggy Christmas Grotto?

🎅 Meet Santa Paws: A very special dog-loving Santa will be waiting to greet every four-legged guest. Expect smiles, sniffs, adorable photo opportunities and plenty of festive fun.

🎁 A Gift for Every Dog: Every visiting pup will receive a Christmas surprise, chosen to delight and make their visit even more magical.

🌟 A Cosy Festive Wonderland: We’re transforming part of our Widnes branch into a warm, twinkling grotto… perfect for dogs and their humans to enjoy a moment of Christmas cheer together.

🎄 Dress code: Christmas jumpers, festive bandanas, reindeer antlers… or just your dog being naturally stunning. All acceptable. 😌🐕

This event is exclusively for dogs belonging to Beacon members.
It’s our way of giving something special back to the loyal community who support us year-round.
